Q. 실업수당 받는 중에 한국방문 궁금합니다~

안녕하세요...

지금 실업수당을 받고 있는데 개인적 사정으로 한국에 3-4개월정도 나가야 할 것 같습니다.

이런 경우 그냥 certify를 안하면 되는건지...기간이 기니까 close하고 돌아와서 다시 claim해야 하는건지..

closes는 어떻게 하는건지 궁금합니다...뭘 어떻게 하고 나가야 하나요...

알려주시면 감사하겠습니다..

'not available' to work (for example, sickness, injured, living abroad, etc) 로 certify
하는 방법도 있고 . . .

stop certifying 하여 inactive 된Unemployment
Insurance (UI) claim 을 나중에(claim 자격을 갖출때) reopen 해야 한다 고 하네요.

“You cannot cancel a claim after you have collected UI
benefits and cannot file a new UI claim until your current claim ends.

You can reopen your claim if it was filed within the
last 52 weeks and you have not exhausted your benefits.”
