코스코에서 $52불짜리 물건을 훔쳐나오다가 걸려서 경찰서에서 법원에 출두하라고 티켓을 받았읍니다, 영어을 못하는사람인데 변호사 없이 가도되는지요,변호사 선임할 형편이 안되서,혼자 법원에 갔을때 절차와 예상처벌은? 변호사을 선임하면 비용이 어떻게되는지? 답변에 미리 감사합니다

You were arrested for 484, it is a misdemeanor so more than likely you were probably placed on probation, and more than likely you will have a public defender to help you. So, the best thing is not to steal anything again. If you stayed in jail for a couple of days then the judge would likely let you go for the "time served." If you have been stealing for a while, you might be looking at for jail time , if you were being changed with 666 pc. So, it is really hard to tell. Again, if this is your first time, you will be free early even without an attorney, again, if you can afford one, one attorney will sent to you without money, the Fifth Amendment. Good luck
