Q. Getting a job without bachelor's degree

My daughter will be a junior this September at Cal Institute of Art.
She has a F1 Visa. Now she has a job offer from Disney Television and
Animation. I understand she has to have a college degree to get H1B.

Disney people told her that they would need to get legal advice from their legal staff. I am wondering if my daughter can get a job without college degree? The new project will start this October and they like her works.

학사 학위가 없는 고등학교 졸업자, 2년제 대학 졸업자, H-1B와 무관한 학사학위 소유자들은 과거의 경력, 인턴쉽, H-1B 직종과 관계된 수업 혹은 교육 등을 가산하여 H-1B를 신청할 수도 있습니다. 다만 이번년도에 취업비자 신청은 너무 늦으셨으므로 내년이 되어야지 신청할수 있으므로, 반드시 일을 하고 싶으시다면 CPT를 이용하시기를 권해드리겠습니다. 좀 더 자세한 내용은 따님에 재학중인 학교 담당자와 CPT 에 관하여서 상담해보시기를 권해드리겠습니다.
