Q. Green card renewal during naturalization process

Currently, I am applying for Naturalization process (citizenship). I have fingerpinted this week. Based on USCIS processing waiting period report, it would be expected to be done sometime in Feb-March 2009 if everything is going well.
My green card is going to expired in December 2008. Should I renew my green card ? Or can I travel aborad with my expired green card AND citizenship application notice?

1999년 이민국 지침서에는 시민권 신청당시 영주권이 6개월 이상 유효하면 영주권 갱신하지 않아도 된다고 분명히 적혀있습니다. 하지만 실제상황에서 나중에 트집잡히지 않으려면 갱신하시는 것도 좋다고 봅니다. 혹시 모르니까요.

영주권자라는걸 보여줄 수 있는 증거자료가 만기를 지나면 그 효력이 없습니다. 권해드릴만한 일이 안되네요.
