Q. health care in USA for Korean travwler

My friend is a Korean living in Korea, usually visiting USA twice a year for a few months at a time staying with his son's family in California.
He is worrying about health care cost in case emergency situation.
What are his options? And what is the best way?
He also wants to know about the OBAMA CARE, can he get help from it? To get help, what is his obligation?
(I prefer to use Korean, but I have to write in English because my computer dosen't have Korean key board. Honestly, I don't know how to.

미국에 몇달씩 머물렀다 가는 한국인의 경우는 여행자 건강보험을 거주기간 만큼 구매하시면 됩니다.
한국에서 구매하셔도 되고, 미국에서 구매하셔도 됩니다.

오마바케어는 해당되지 않습니다.
