i have a question about expungement. after i did expungement. who can actually see my record? because i want to work in the hospital but they require background check. thank you.

Usually your criminal record is sent to recording uint of Justice Department. When a company or government entity requires background check, your criminal record is reported to the requester. Remember when you expunged your record, you write both your conviction date and dismissed date and answer to the question as yes/ dismissed.

I hear that expungement isn't really much of anything because anyone can still see your record. hospitals are pretty strict when it comes to background check.

I do not think so...check your record to see what your crime was. If it did not end up in conviction, the employer cannot ask for it, which means you do not have to check "yes" for the query. See what's on your criminal record. That's the first step.
