Q. fafsa 봄학기 신청 늦었나요?

현재 I-485 10/9접수후에 접수증말고는 따른 통지 받은것은 없는데요. Advance Parole이면 fafsa신청이 된다고 해서 AP도 뒤늦게 10/21에 접수했습니다.
먼저 이에 대한 사실유무 확인하고싶습니다. I-485 pending과 Advance Parole로 fafsa신청자격이 되나요?

근데 궁금한점이 현재 2014 봄학기로 애리조나주립대 in-state입학허가는 받았는데 개강일이 1/15입니다. 2014봄학기는 fafsa 2013-2014신청하라는 거라는데 보니까 기입할때 필요한 SSN나 AP도 빠르면 12월초에나 나올것 같습니다.

실질적인 질문은.. 2014년 봄학기를 위한 fafsa신청을 2013년 12월초에 해도 장학금을 받을 수 있을까요? 못받으면 1월에 2014-2015꺼 신청하고 가을학기까지 기달려야해서요..

“Refugee,”
“Asylum Granted,”
“Cuban-Haitian Entrant (Status Pending),”
“Conditional Entrant” (valid only if issued before April 1, 1980), or
“Parolee” (you must be paroled for at least one year, and you must be able to provide evidence from the USCIS that you are not in the United States for a temporary purpose and that you intend to become a U.S. citizen or permanent resident).

You are not able to apply for financial aid yet. I-485 is an application for Green Card. Advance Parole is a temporary permission that you can travel outside U.S. and return without a visa. You can fill out FAFSA for Spring 2014 semester as soon as you receive a Green Card Number.

그럼 만약 이미 자비로 tuition을 내고 두어달 있다가 fafas를 신청하면 돌려받을 수 있나요?

Yes, You will get refund after you receive any financial aid. Also, you can fill out FAFSA as soon as Green Card Number is stamped on your Korean passport.
