Every State's DUI laws are different so you must get specific advice for your State. If you were arrested in California, you will either be charged with a misdemeanor or felony dui. If misdemeanor, chances are you will not go to jail but would still have to pay total fine of about $2,000, go to dui school from 3 months to 1 yr, 36 months of informal probation and possible some work such as caltrans. In any event this will not prevent you from going to and from Korea and back. If you are charged with a felony (if other party is serious injuried), the punishment will be much harsher. It will result in some short jail term. It is probably best that you hire an attorney.
