Q. DS-230---who is petitioner?

I did I-130 for my mom. I am doing DS-230 now. She is in Korea now.
One of the requested documents is petitioner's marriage license for the visa of the citizen's parents. I guess that petition is me but I just want to make sure. Who is petitioner, me or my mom?

Petitioner란 초청인을 의미합니다. 즉, 미국 시민권을 가지신 본인이 이에 해당하겠습니다. Beneficiary는 피 초청인을 의미하므로, 본인의 어머니를 의미합니다.

If the specific question was intended for a spouse of U.S. Citizen, you do not have to submit it. General forms usually contain questions which do not apply to certain cases.
