Q. 실업급여 pending 어떻게 하나요?

안녕하세요

3월에 실직하여 edd를 신청하여 승인된 후 id verrification letter를 받았으나 분실하여,

다시 edd를 신청하였고 승인되어 id verification 및 2 weeks work certification을 보냈는대

edd site에 duplicate for week xx certification status 라고 나와 있고 돈이 지급되지 않고 있으며 2주 마다 work certification을 할 수도 없습니다. 전화도 않되고 편지를 보내도 아무런 대답을 얻을 수가 없습니다. 다시 edd를 신청하지 말고 letter를 다시 받았어야 하는데 다시 신청하여 문제가 생긴것 같습니다. 이 문제를 어떻게 해결해야 하는지 도움 부탁드립니다.

“You just have to wait.
We have tens of thousands of people (maybe more) waiting on claims review and
identity verification and there are only 30 people working on it.”

“EDD is trying to fill close to 5,000 positions over the coming weeks to
increase its call center capacity, but bringing people on would take time.”

“It takes about six months to train somebody because of the complexity of the unemployment insurance program,”

“In the meantime, the EDD said people should just keep calling.”
