최 변호사님 답변에 감사 드립니다. 제가 이민국 웹사이트에 보니 이렇게 나와 있습니다.그래서 저는 전액 면제를 위해서는 이 항목 10먼에 NO 로 표시하고 별도로 I-912 를 제출하는것이 아닌지 몰라 문의 드리게 되었습니다. 조언 부탁 드립니다. A reduced fee is not the same as a fee waiver. Please see our Form I-912, Request for Fee Waiver page for information about fee waivers. Do not file both a request for a reduced fee and a request for a fee waiver.

"- Do not file both a request for a reduced fee and a request for a fee waiver.

(If you are submitting a fee waiver request with your Form N-400,
you should NOT complete Part 10 of the Form N-400.)"

양식 N-400과 함께 수수료 면제 요청을 제출하는 경우,
N-400 양식의 파트 10을 작성해서는 안 된다고 나오네요.

"If you are applying for a fee waiver 면제 신청,
you are NOT required to completed Part 10 of the Form N-400.

Do not send a fee.
Submit a properly completed Form I-912,
or a written request for a fee waiver,
and documentation to support the fee waiver request."

"An applicant requesting a reduced fee 감면 신청
with Form N-400 on or after April 1, 2024,

should submit the new Form N-400 with Part 10 COMPLETE
(Item Numbers 1.--5.b.)

1. Yes (complete Item Numbers 2.-5.b.)
and pay the amount of the reduced fee ($380)."

참고로,
"Note the new fee rule edition of Form N-400 incorporates in Part 10
a request for a reduced fee based on household income,
(less than or equal to 400 % of federal poverty guidelines)

ELIMINATING the need to submit Form I-942,
Request for Reduced Fee, which is being DISCONTINUED."

if you are not eligible a reduced fee, complete item number 1.
"NO"에 첵크하여 (skip to part. 11) and proceed to part 11

'fee waivers' 면제 요청 또는 'reduced fees' 감면 요청과 무관한
시민권 신청인은 Part 10 에 'NO"를 답하여 Part 11으로 가셔야 겠지요.
