KoreaTimes: A renter should pay at least 25% of rent EVERY MONTH until Jan 31 2021 not to be evicted.

Koreadaily: A renter shoudl pay at least 25% of the whole accumulated rent until Jan 31, 2021.

(Foe example, if teh monthly rent is $1000,:

According to Koreatimes, a renter shoudl pay $250 in October , $250 in November $250 in december and $250 in early Jan 2021.

According to Koreadaily, a renter can pay $1000 by Jan 31, 2021. ( anytime before Jan 31, 2021)

Which is correct?

Under the legislation, no tenant can be evicted before February 1, 2021 as a result of rent owed due to a COVID 19related hardship accrued between March 4 August 31, 2020, if the tenant provides a declaration of hardship according to the legislation’s timelines. For a COVID 19 related hardship that accrues between September 1, 2020 January 31, 2021, tenants must also pay at least 25 percent of the rent due to avoid eviction.

"The 25% can be paid over time OR in one lump sum-at any time-up to and including 1/31/21. "
