Q. EAD Card Renewal 중 Driver License 갱신

EAD Card가 10월3일에 만기인데 6월중순에 EAD Renewal을 신청하고 기다리고 있는 중입니다. 그런데 저는 운전면허가 8월18일에 제 배우자는 8월3일에 만기입니다. 지난 금요일에 DMV에서 편지가 왔는데, 합법적인 체류증빙 서류를 내고 운전면허를 갱신하라는 이야기같은데.. 어떻게 해야하나요?
DMV에서 온 내용을 인용하면 다음과 같습니다.

Your limited term driver license will expire soon. To extend your limited term license you must submit satisfactory proof that your presence in the United States has been extended or reauthorized by federal law. NOTE: The department is prohibited from issuing a drivers license if the document submitted as proof of legal presence indicates an expiration date less than 61 days from the application date. California Code of Regulations Title 13 Article 2 Section 15.30(b)
