현재 다니고 있는 학교에 'Application for In-State Residency Status' (학교에 따라 양식의 이름이 다를 수 있음)라는 양식을 제출하십시요. 그 양식에 필요한 증명서류가 다 나와 있습니다. 주위의 다른 분들에게 묻지 마시고 관련부처에 직접 문의하셔야 확실합니다. 참고로 워싱톤주에서 필요로 하는 서류는 아래와 같습니다.
Evidence of Domicile, Including but not Limited to: payment of taxes or fees on property in Washington; a valid state driver's license; permanent full-time employment in Washington; a WA address on the previous year's Federal and state income tax returns; WA voter registration; purchase of a primary residence in Washington; lease agreement or monthly rental receipts on a WA home or apartment for the previous year; nonresident status of a student in schools outside of Washington; bank accounts in Washington; and membership in professional, business, civic or other organizations in Washington.
Independent로 년 수입이 $12,000 이면 학비로 내셔야 하는 금액이 약 $2,200 정도가 됩니다. 학비에서 이 금액을 뺀 금액이 학자금보조액이 됩니다.
