자동차를 처음 등록하기 위해서는
그 자동차를 가지고 가셔야 합니다.
그 주에서 스모그 체크를 해야 하고
그 차를 DMV에 가지고 가셔서 인스펙션을 받으셔야 등록이 가능합니다.
워싱톤주 는 차에 따라 다릅니다.

Who needs to have their vehicle tested?
If you live in these counties, your vehicle may need testing every 2 years:
•Clark County
•King County
•Pierce County
•Snohomish County
•Spokane County

What vehicles are exempt?
These vehicle types don’t need emission testing:
•Hybrid vehicles: Honda Insight and Toyota Prius.
•2009 or newer model year vehicles.
•Vehicles more than 25 years old
