Q. 임대차계약

안녕들 하세요.
다름이 아니라 빌딩내의 점포를 임대차 계약을 하려하는데, 만약 랜로드가 파산하면 건물내 임차인들은 아무 보상 없이 쫒겨나는 건가요?
알고 싶습니다. 도와주세요.

For residential property there are both State and Federal laws that protect the tenant when the owner is foreclosed upon. However, in most commercial tenant cases, there is no such protection, except in the terms of the lease which may allow the tenant to stay. Generally, the commercial tenant can be evicted by the new owner even though there is time remaining on the lease. But you should also consider the fact that the new owner will probably want to keep existing tenants because its money for the new owner.
