2학년까지는 ROTC 할 수 있으나 그 이후는 시민권이 있어야 한다고 하네요.

"OH YEAH I UNDERSTAND that you have to be a us citizen to become an officer. but in the first 2 years of rotc you dont have to be a citzen right? only in your junior and senior years (the professional courses) do yu have to be a citzen right!?!

Anybody can take the first 2 years of ROTC.
BUT, to continue on in the Professional Officer Course (POC) for your final 2 years you have to be a US citizen to be commissioned"

You just need to become US Citizen while you are in ROTC (1-2학년).
If you don't have enough time in Green card holder (5 years) you can join the Reserve and get citizenship.
You can do both ROTC and Reserve same time.
