안녕하세요,
지금 현재 F1 신분으로 이번학기 졸업 예정입니다.
내년 2월 22일 시작으로 OPT신청을 했는데요
제가 미국에서 E2에서 F1으로 변경을 해서 학생신분 동안에 해외로 출국을 못했는데

OPT 승인시 해외여행이 가능할까요, 아니면 영주권이 나오고 나서 해야할까요?

안녕하세요

미국내에서 신분변경을 하신상태에서 해외에 출국하신다면, 미국에 재입국시 유효한 비자를 소지하고 계셔야 하므로, 새롭게 비자를 발급받으셔야 하시니, 이점 유의하시기 바라겠습니다.

모든 비이민비자의 소지자가 미국내에서 신분변경(다른 비이민비자로 변경)을 한 경우에는
반드시 해외의 미 대사관이나 영사관에서 영사절차를 밟아 새로운 비자를 받아야 미국입국이 가능합니다.

Please note that :

the I-94 card is not a visa and

1) if you travel
a) outside the United States
b) [for people
i) getting extensions
(a) of the same visa type:
(b) after expiration
(i) of your current visa]

c) [for people
i) getting a different type of visa
(a) than their current visa type,
(b) such as change of status
(i) from E-2 to F-1 or
(ii) from any kind of nonimmigrant status to any kind of nonimmigrant status

:

1) just continue
(a) with the next segment of the sentence:],

1) you must apply for a new visa
a) at a U.S. embassy
i) abroad
ii) prior to re-entry into the United States.
