Q. 메디칼 관련 질문드립니다. 전문가님 도와주셔요

안녕하세요 캘리포니아에 거주하고있는 사람입니다.

다름이 아니라 이번에 병원에서 수술을 받는 일이 생겼는데 커뮤니티 병원에서

병원비 디스카운트 프로그램이 있으니 신청하라고 해서 하려고하니 담당자가

일단 메디칼신청을 해보고 거절 당하면 디스카운트 프로그램이 적용된다고 안내를 받고

메디칼을 신청하였는데 승인이 되었다고 편지가 왔습니다만, 내용이 이해가 안되서 올립니다.

아시는 분은 안내좀 부탁드리겠습니다.

네 뭐 제한된 메디칼이 승인되었다는 뜻같은데 그냥 메디칼과는 다른가요?

이름(Name) will get Restricted Medi-Cal service under the AFDC MN program.

The Medically Needy program for families provides benefits to families with a child whose parent is absent from the home, deceased, incapacitated, unemployed, or working with limited earning.

Eligibility for this program is based on the family's income and property, in addition to other requirements.

AFDC MN 프로그램 밑에서 메디칼 서비스를 받는다는데 도대체 이건 어떤건가요?
일반 메디칼과는 다른가요?

Since your income exceeds the amount alloweed for living expanses, the following people have a $2,366.00 share of cost to pay toward their medical care beginning December 2011.

이 $2,366.00 Share of cost to pay란 말은 이금액이 넘는 병원비에 대해서만 메디칼 혜택을 볼 수 있다는 뜻인가요?

편지를 받았는데 물어볼데도 없고 답답한 마음에 글남깁니다.
