2. Failure to register is a violation of the Military Selective Service Act. Conviction for such a violation may result in imprisonment for up to five years and/or a fine of not more than $250,000. Once you reach age 26, it's too late to register. Even though you may not be prosecuted, you may be denied student financial assistance, federal job training, and most federal employment unless you can provide convincing evidence to the agency providing the benefit you are seeking, that your failure to register was not knowing and willful.

상기 건 관련 질문 입니다.

저희 아들은 영주권으로 있을때 Seletive Service에 등록 하지 않았구요...... 영주권자 일때 미군 해군에 들어 갔고 지금도 미국 해군에 복무 중인데... 이런 경우도 나중에 문제가 될수 있나요? 현재는 시민권을 소유하고 있습니다..
