안녕하세요.
현재 F-1 비자로 eb-3 영주권 신청 절차를 진행중인 유학생 입니다.
2025년도 말에 I-140 서류를 신청해서 2026년 1월에 승인을 받은 상태입니다.
그런데 유학생 신분에서도 Form 8843 세금 보고는 필수라고 하여 그 동안 해왔고 이번년도 또한 하려고 하는데
"During 2025, did you apply for, or take other affirmative steps to apply for, lawful permanent resident status
in the United States or have an application pending to change your status to that of a lawful permanent
resident of the United States? "
아직 I-485 신청하기 전이고 I-140만 승인받은 상태인데 위의 항목에서 Yes를 체크해야하는지 궁금하여 질문드립니다.
