Q. food stamp와 edd 문의드립니다

제가 남편 저 edd에서 주 243불 .주 450불 토탈 693불해서 한달에 3003불을 받습니다

그런데 이번에 연방정부 보조금 주 300씩 추가되서 부부가 600불씩 더 받는데 그러면 한다로 치면 5000불이 넘습니다

그러면 푸드 스탬프가 끊기나요? 지역은 la입니다

“Benefits from the COVID-19 unemployment insurance UI programs, Pandemic Unemployment Assistance PUA , Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Assistance PEUA and Pandemic Unemployment Compensation PUC 모두 인컴으로 계산되며 count as income for CalFresh.”

Penalty for not reporting 보고하지 않음에 대한 벌칙 :

“If you do not report when your income is more than your household’s IRT
(Income Reporting Threshold) limit you may get more benefits than you should.
You must REPAY any extra benefits you get based on income you do not report.

변제해야 하며, 고의로 보고하지 않으면 이는 사기이며 범죄로 기소 될 수 있습니다.

If you do not report on purpose to try to get more benefits, this is fraud, and

저도 비슷한 경우인데요 나름대로 조사를 해보니까 특별한 경우라서 조금 복잡하네요 주마다 좀 차이가 있지만 변제나 사기 범죄까지는 아닐 거같은데요 미국에서의 이민생활의 경험으로 볼 때에 위험요소가 있지만 직접적인 범죄행위가 아닌 한 너무 걱정해서 조바심보다는 배째라 배짱이 문제해결의 한 방법인 것만은 확실합니다

Impact of UI on People Already Enrolled
Individuals currently enrolled in SNAP, Medicaid, or TANF who are approved for UI may need to report receipt of the UI to the state agency, which may affect their benefits.

Impact on Benefits and Eligibility
SNAP: All UI benefits (including the additional $600 per week in PUC) are countable as unearned income for SNAP households. Receipt of UI may reduce benefits for households, although they may continue receiving the maximum benefit if the state is issuing emergency allotments during the public health emergency. For other households, the receipt of UI will put them over the income threshold and make them ineligible.
